What we do

1. Educational Promise Program

Immanuel Orphans created the Educational Promise Program to educate and empower orphans living in Kenya. Their situation is particularly dire due to a combination of factors including poverty, AIDS, drought, and political and social turmoil. We seek out promising orphans and provide financial and social-emotional support for them to complete a high school education and pursue their dreams. Fifteen students are currently enrolled in the program, with four on track to graduating high school this year. Currently, we are seeking donation from donors/sponsors to enable us expand the education promise program to serve 100 orphans annually.

3. Vocational Training Program

This is a new program created to assist high school graduates who are not admitted to universities develop practical skills for future employment by providing scholarship that cater for community colleges or vocational training school's tuition fees. For instance, one of the two orphans to complete the Educational Promise Program who graduated high school in 2013, is now enrolled in a vocational training college in kenya to pursue a diploma in computer science-IT.
